About the Fall Draw

The Spring Thaw is a full day Lacrosse event on January 18th, 2020 at the Fishhawk Complex Fields. 

In the morning, there will be a Marie McCool clinic, focusing on shooting, defensive footwork, fundamentals, and lacrosse IQ. Marie McCool is one of the most recognizable female lacrosse players in the world, playing on the Women's Professional Lacrosse League (WPLL)'s Brave and Team USA. Marie will have a supporting coaching staff of WPLL Pro Players, Women's Colligate Lacrosse Coaches, Players and alumni. 


In the afternoon, there will be a 7v7 and 3v3 Jamboree. High School and Middle School divisions will play in the 7v7 format, while Elementary School teams will play in the 3v3 format. You can register as a team (you just need a team name, a few friends- 7v7 divisions need around 10 players, 3v3 divisions need around 6 players- a team captain, and a

team parent; or you can register as a single player and be placed on a team! 

Lunch will be available by Taco Yolo, Italian ice will be available by Kona Ice. There will also be vendors! 


Who? East Tampa Lacrosse Club will be hosting the event. East Tampa Lacrosse Club runs programs and events in the East Tampa Area.

All girl lacrosse players from grades K-12th grade are welcome to play at this event.

How? 
Are you registering as a single player? If Yes- just click HERE to register
Are your registering as a team? 
  1. If you are in Middle or High School, secure a team of around 10 players (you are in the 7v7 division, and will need a Goalie and a few subs) 
  2. If you are in Elementary School, just get around 5 friends together! You will be playing in the 3v3 Lightning Lacrosse Division, so you won't need a goalie. 
  3. Think of a Team Name- this is how you will appear on the schedule. When registering, make sure everyone puts down your Team Name so we can make sure everyone is on the right team. 
  4. Lock down a Team Captain and a Team Parent, this is the player and parent that are responsible for your Team. They will need to help make sure everyone is there and ready come game time. 
  5. Now go HERE to register (and remember to have your teammates register too!)
